Your Role:

 

The product manager will work as part of the product team, representing users and ensuring that our platform for marketers continues to evolve. This includes determining what clients require, assisting teams in developing the best product, and then assisting the company in selling it. You will study product capabilities, generate user stories, assist with wireframe production, and support feature development into the platform while working with key stakeholders such as management, engineering, delivery, customer success, support, and clients. They also provide product vision and leadership to those involved in the product's development, support, marketing, and sale. This involves ensuring that the product is in line with the company's strategy and objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Assist with the development and implementation of product changes.

· Collaborate with off-shore Scrum Masters to ensure that teams deliver new product releases on schedule, on budget, and following specifications.

· Participate in relevant meetings with offshore teams, such as stand-ups, kick-offs, retrospectives, and demos.

· Lead discovery and backlog grooming with engineering teams to decompose/estimate stories.

· Use people to test updates and new apps to fine-tune the requirements and user experience.

· Assist with the implementation of the new platform, company, and tenant features (e.g., communication plans, info sessions, training, marketing materials)

· Ensure that any new features are tied to important goals and objectives.

· Create clear and precise design and scope papers, replete with acceptance criteria, for new our apps, features, and bug patches.

· Contribute to the product vision, positioning, and direction as part of the product management team.

· Support product performance measurement and monitoring with KPIs that are immediately measurable and displayed in basic dashboards.

· Research market trends and competitor activity to come up with new product and service ideas as well as cost-cutting strategies.

· Work with the product team to review presented ideas, update status and queue ideas, and keep the roadmap up to date.

 

Experience Required:

 

· 5 years of tech product management experience

· Experience in AdTech ideal

· Ability to gather information and create product design and scoping, including User Stories

· Ability and interest to understand the impact of technical decisions and willingness to learn new technologies and processes

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Extremely proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

· General understanding of web technologies

· Ideal candidates need to be solution-oriented, process-driven, fast learners, strong communicators and passionate about technology.

· Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects at once

 

Desirable Experience:

 

· Either a technical university graduate or graphic/creative processes or marketing experience

· Working understanding of front-end development languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and how they apply to digital advertising and email.

· Exposure to Ad Networks - Google Marketing Platform, Sizmek, Flashtalking etc - and/or to Adobe CS suite, in particular, InDesign

· Experience in production agencies processes

· Experience in implementation of software development projects, writing articles on development-related topics or other

· Experience using JIRA, Confluence.
